PORT ROBINSON, Ont. – The Welland Jr. Canadians will have a new leader at the helm of hockey operations for the 2024/25 season.

The team is pleased to announce T.J. Clarke as the new general manager, effective immediately.

“We’re really excited to welcome T.J. to the Welland Jr. Canadians family,” says Owner Lou Savona. “He brings experience and excels in both the admin and recruitment details; two traits crucial at this level. I’m really looking forward to working with him.”

Clarke comes to the team with 15 years of experience in various junior hockey leagues. He spent stints as Assistant General Manager of the Brampton Bombers (GOJHL) and the Milton Icehawks (OJHL), and has held various scouting positions with the Kingston Voyageurs (OJHL), Cowichan Valley Capitals (BCHL) and the Coquitlam Express (BCHL).

In addition to his new role with the Jr. Canadians, Clarke is currently the Director of Scouting with the Surrey Eagles (BCHL) and the Owner and Hockey Director of Arsenal Hockey, a spring-summer tournament team that compete in various high-level tournaments.

Any perspective players should reach out to T.J. at GM@WellandJrCanadians.com.

The Jr. Canadians also have a few open slots left at our first summer skate and encourage anyone interested to sign up under the registration tab.
